The festival kicks off its milestone 20th season on September 29th, with doors opening at 6:00 pm at the iconic Beyond Baroque located at 681 Venice Blvd. The festivities commence with a glamorous red carpet event at 7:00 pm, accompanied by live musical performances by the talented Chad Carrier in the enchanting garden setting. Attendees can also explore an art show featuring local artists before settling in for the captivating opening feature film, "Trust In Love." Directed by the acclaimed Mick Davis "Trust In Love" is a comedy that promises laughter, heart, and a touch of musical magic. The stellar cast includes Jimi Petulla (Reversal ) as "Mickey," Natasha Wilson (Once Upon a Time) as "Sofia," Miljenko Matijveic (Steelheart ) as "Emerson," Robby Krieger ( The Doors ) as "Robby," and Eric Roberts (Babylon, Runaway Train, Star 80) as "Stoogie Guru." The film follows Mickey Ferrera, a recording producer facing a career crisis, marital turmoil, and his sons personal journey. With courage and determination, Mickey embarks on a quest to "Trust In Love," aiming to salvage his family and create one last remarkable record.
